Common questions.
How long does property verification take?
A standard verification, covering title history, gazette cross-check, and litigation search, typically takes 5 to 10 business days depending on the property location and the availability of records from the relevant land registry. Complex or disputed properties may take longer. We will give you an honest timeline before starting, and keep you updated throughout.
Do you work with diaspora buyers?
Yes. A significant portion of our clients are Nigerian diaspora investors based in the UK, US, Canada, and Europe looking to invest in land or property back home. We handle the on-the-ground due diligence, verification, and transaction management on their behalf, with regular documentation and communication throughout. We can conduct consultations via video call.
What areas do you currently operate in?
Our primary operational areas are Lagos State, Nasarawa State, Abuja outskirts (FCT), and Kogi State. These are the corridors where we have the deepest land registry relationships, the most transaction data, and on-the-ground team presence. We may be able to assist with inquiries in other states on a case-by-case basis, so contact us to discuss.
Can you farm land I already own, even if I didn't buy it from Nimi Kings?
Yes. Our agricultural service isn't limited to land purchased through us. Bring us land you already own anywhere in Nigeria, and we can till the soil and manage farming on it as a standalone service. If you bought land from us and it's sitting idle, we can activate it the same way. Contact us with the land's location and size and we'll advise on scope.
How do your construction fees work?
Our construction fees are structured per project, based on detailed Bills of Quantities agreed and signed before any work begins. There are no open-ended cost estimates. We work to a fixed scope and a defined milestone payment structure, so you always know what you owe and when.
